Elf on the Shelf Giveaway

I had such great intentions of making up a list of Elf on the Shelf mischief ideas for this year but ran out of steam around #15. Thanks to Sir Google, I've stumbled across some great ideas. See Jane Blog is giving away an awesome Elf package! Head on over and check it out.

Our elf totally needs some glasses.

Facebook Fan Giveaway

Time to get the kids and pets into the perfect (good luck!) pose for the yearly holiday card. Maybe you'll decide to send out cards sans photo this year? Whatever you choose, you'll need to get working on that card! Well, I'd like to help by giving away a free custom holiday card design (valued at $25) to one of my Facebook fans. To view the rules, please visit and like my Facebook page! :)

Winner will be announced on 11/23/12. Good luck!

New Etsy Designs

I usually end up with a bunch of custom orders from friends, right before the holidays, so I try to stock my shop with ready-made designs for the general public before the rush starts. I didn't do so well with this last year so this year I tried to get on top of it early. I've also decided to donate 50% of my proceeds this year to Jasmine's House. So buy buy buy! :)

Here are some of this year's new designs.

And a couple new non-holiday designs.

It's Almost Elf Time

Last  year we started the Elf on the Shelf tradition. Who had that crazy idea?? As is the case with many holiday happenings, it's both fun and profanity provoking at the same time. I can't say that it does much for curbing naughty behavior but Ava does love seeing what kind of mischief our elf, Linky, has gotten into overnight. Here are a few of his adventures from last year. This year I'm working on a list so that I'm not scrambling for ideas every night when I really want to just crawl into bed. Linky arrives on Thanksgiving. Another brilliant idea. December 1st would suffice. December 15th would be even more sufficient.

Christmas Eve. Time for Linky to leave. Yup, made me cry. Damn elf.
